Burroughs 205
Consolidated Engineering Corporation

The ElectroData story really begins with the phenomenal growth in American electronics manufacturing in the post World War II era.  Consolidated Engineering Corporation participated in that growth.  Their primary products were a variety of mass spectrometers and various strain and stress measuring instruments.  CEC benefited substantially from the rearmament programs arising from the Korean War.

Interestingly, CEC was already on the Burroughs radar screen in 1951.  Burroughs had started a file for CEC clippings and analyst reports.
